Our signature product is our Explorer Flannel Shirt —100% cotton yarn-dyed plaid flannel lined in the neckband, yoke & cuffs with contrast blue chambray. Brushed on both sides it is as durable as it is soft and features triple needle sewing, finished seams and reinforced pockets.

One of the newest products in the Backpacker Outerwear Line is our Conceal Carry Vest. Constructed with our legacy 7.5 oz cotton canvas and lined with 100% poly Sherpa, it is available in four earth tone colors.

Backpacker performance apparel such as our Expedition Travel Shirt features: wrinkle resistance, stain & soil repellence, UPF protection and moisture management. Our Sport Utility Plaid Shirt features our exclusive BP Yarn—green & environmentally friendly—it provides very high UV protection without topical chemicals and has easy care/wrinkle resistant and soil release properties.

Just introduced this year is our Albacore Stretch Flannel Shirt—98% cotton and 2% spandex – the stretch feature in this shirt makes it ideal for all outdoor activities.
Along with shirts and outerwear Backpacker Apparel also offers hiking boots and accessories. Our newest bag collections include The Around Town Tote– a stylish and practical bag constructed from our signature plaid flannels and the Nomad Satchel and Nomad Messenger—both made from durable waxed canvas and lined in our signature plaid flannel.
