Ready for San Antonio!
As this issue of The Advantage goes to the printer, our team here is hard at work putting the finishing touches on Leadership16, our upcoming Business Development Conference to be held this year in San Antonio. You’ve gotten our postcards and emails by now, but I’m telling you – I’m really excited about this year’s Conference, and it’s my pleasure to invite you to join us.
Why attend the Conference? Plenty of reasons come to mind, but here are three important ones to consider.
First, attendees from companies of all sizes agree that your return on investment is huge. Relevant, timely information from business experts saves you time and money, plus the exchange of proven ideas on building business and the opportunity to solve challenges with other business owners only occurs at in-person meetings like this. As Harvey Klein of Red the Uniform Tailor, a public safety and uniform distributor says, “It’s time
well spent.”
Second, your support of the Conference speaks volumes to our suppliers. Your attendance directly impacts pricing and terms.
Finally, this issue is all about niche marketing – how to capture a corner of the marketplace so you’re not continually engaged in the race to the bottom. The Conference offers the opportunity to learn about your fellow Members’ success in unique niches in their markets and to meet equally unique suppliers that can help your business stand out in the marketplace.
But don’t just take it from me…
Jonathan Fine of Pop Tops Sportswear in the Boston area commented after coming to his first conference, “The information…is invaluable. I will be back next year.”
Longtime laundry Member James Gardner of Carpet Rentals in Statesville, North Carolina makes it a point to come, saying, “These Conferences are a win-win situation for everyone who’s there. In-person meetings like this are still the best resource where you can talk to people face-to-face and learn how to get past your challenges and share those solutions. I highly recommend it.”
Gayle, Karl and I are already packing our bags! I’ll see you in San Antonio!
